BCI Terms and Conditions for Obtaining Credit References
You were likely referred to our website by a BCI member company when you contacted them for a credit reference. BCI is an association of companies who extend trade credit to other businesses. Some of our member companies make their trade experience available to non-member companies through our website. Use of this service is a privilege and any suspected abusers will be blocked. BCI member companies should log into their group area and obtain the information via a credit report.
Terms of Use:
The credit information you are about to view electronically has been compiled by BCI based upon information provided by our member companies and is intended for use by Non-BCI members. You may not distribute, transmit or otherwise circulate the information obtained to anyone outside of your credit department. Use of this information for any other purpose is strictly prohibited. By proceeding to login, you are acknowledging your acceptance with the above, and agreeing to comply with the BCI Credit Reference Service Code of Conduct.
All users of the BCI Credit Reference Service agree to: abide by the highest standards of professional conduct and to strictly adhere to Federal and State Antitrust laws.
BCI compiles a wide range of proprietary information “from BCI members for BCI members”. Our “Give-to-Get”policy for exchanging trade experience insures all parties receive current information and safeguards the parties involved. Information furnished by BCI is confidential, and under no circumstances may any of this privileged information be shared with or shown to a member company’s customer, non-credit department staff or any other party. BCI’s information may include identifying non-member company and associated trade information on a common customer; this information should also be handled confidentially. Any violation of the above is considered a breach of confidence and will result in immediate suspension from using BCI services.
